Twelve shelves of aquarium gear: pumps, stones, sponge filters, media, airline, lights, test kits, cleaning tools, nets, breeding gear, tank gear and suction cups.
Most tanks start with air. Your pump pushes it down 3/16 in tubing, a check valve keeps water from running back, and a stone or sponge filter spreads it through the water. Pawfly has made those parts since 2016, and the pumps, valves and connectors share one fitting size, from a 1.3 W nano pump to a 254 GPH pump with four outlets.
After air, each job has its own measure. Lights are chosen by tank length, sponge filters by gallons, magnetic cleaners by glass thickness. For saltwater, there is a reef light with 12000 K white, a 3400 GPH wavemaker and a test kit that reads salt water as well as fresh. Start with the tank planner if you know your gallons and want a short list.
the Pawfly collection keeps 76 models here, from $3.99.
For air and filtration: a pump sized to your gallons, 3/16 in tubing, a check valve, and a sponge filter or air stone. Add a light sized to the tank's length, a heater if your fish need warm water, and a test kit to follow ammonia and nitrite while the tank cycles.
Yes. The Dimmable Reef Light adds 12000 K white and violet to its blues for coral, the 3400 GPH Wavemaker moves water in six wave patterns, and the 5-in-1 test kit reads salt water as well as fresh. For filtration, the polishing pad, the floss and the 8-layer pad are all made for both.
The Hanging Aquarium Plant Holders hang on rimless glass up to 0.39 in thick, the Aquarium Cooling Fan clamps onto lipless glass up to 0.6 in, and the battery automatic feeder mounts on rimless tanks only. One item goes the other way: the Clear Fish Tank Lid is cut for a rimmed 10-gallon tank.
