- Fits a planted tank, a small pond or a DWC bucket on a pump above 4 W.
Color is the reason to choose this ball. Blue stands out against green plants, while grey disappears into gravel. Each ball is 1.95 inches across, weighs 3.9 ounces and passes 5 L/min, about 79 GPH, with a pump above 4 W. The inlet accepts 3/16 or 3/8 inch tubing, which lets the same stone move from a tank to a DWC bucket.
Grey comes in packs of 2 or 4, blue in packs of 4 or 8. Soak each ball for an hour before use and brush it when the stream weakens. Below 4 W of pump power the ball sits outside its recommended range, so a 1 W nano pump is the wrong partner for it.
