Airline and valves

Tubing from 7 to 100 feet, plus check valves, connectors and air valves from a single-way lever to an 8-way manifold, all for 3/16 in line.
A kit saves you matching parts by hand. In the 13-foot Airline Tubing Starter Kit you get two small stones, four connectors, six suction holders and two check valves. The 25 Ft kit brings eight connectors in straight, L, Y and T shapes and eight suction cups with clips. For a fish room, the Bulk Airline Tubing Roll runs 50 or 100 ft, 4 mm inside and 6 mm outside.
Control depends on how many lines you run. A plastic air control valve trims one line with a twist of the knob, 10 to a pack. Metal lever valves come in 1 to 8 ways, and the chromium copper manifold in 6 or 8, fed from a 3/8 in inlet. Check valves, 6 or 10 to a pack, protect your pump from backflow on air lines only, so keep them off CO2.
The 9 airline tubing, valves and fittings on this shelf belong to the Pawfly catalog.
Standard 3/16 in ID airline, which is 4 mm inside and 6 mm outside. The check valves, lever valves, control valves, connectors and airline clips all take it. One inlet differs: the Multi-Way Air Manifold takes a 3/8 in line in and sends six or eight 3/16 in lines out.
No. They are made for ordinary aquarium air pumps, and the higher pressure of a CO2 system can crack them and cause a leak. Use a valve rated for CO2 there. If one of ours clogs on an air line, push it open from the inlet side with a slim stick.
Drill a 13/64 in pilot hole in the pipe, put the valve in the drill's chuck, and press down slowly so the thread works its way in. The lever closes the valve when it stands at 90° to the flow path. They come 24 to a pack for fish rooms that run air through central pipes.
