Cleaning

Six tools for glass and gravel, from a magnet that holds through glass up to 0.7 in to a siphon moving 15 gallons in 10 minutes.
Algae on the glass comes off two ways. A magnetic cleaner lets you scrub the inside while your hand stays outside the tank, and if the inner pad of either Pawfly magnet comes loose, it floats up to be retrieved. For crusted spots and mineral marks, the Algae Scraper puts 5 stainless blades on a handle that extends from 19 to 26 in. None of the magnets suits an acrylic tank.
Siphons start by hand. Squeeze the bulb of the Gravel Vacuum and Siphon a few times and the water runs on its own, past an inlet cover that keeps fry and shrimp out. On the 3-in-1 Water Changer, the tube extends from 11 to 16.5 in and a cross handle on top slows or stops the flow mid-change. Seven tools share one rod in the 7-in-1 kit.
The 6 glass cleaners and gravel vacuums on this shelf belong to the Pawfly collection.
Also by need: cleaning: glass, gravel, water.
Not the two magnetic cleaners or the scraper of the 7-in-1 kit: all three are made for glass and marked as not for acrylic. Their coarse pads and steel blades can scratch the softer surface of an acrylic tank.
The Magnetic Glass Cleaner with Scraper holds through glass up to 0.7 in. As a second option, the Strong Magnetic Glass Cleaner comes in S for glass 1/4 in thick and M for 1/4 to 1/2 in, with two scrapers, one steel and one plastic, that snap onto the inner pad.
The 3-in-1 Water Changer moves up to 15 gallons every 10 minutes. In its 5 to 10 gallon size, the Gravel Vacuum moves up to 5 gallons in the same time, and a 30 to 60 gallon size is there for bigger tanks.
