Suction cups

Five kinds of cup and clip, sized by what they hold: 3/16 in airline, a 1 in heater, zip-tied moss or a sheet of nori.
Airline goes in the small clip. The Airline Suction Cup Clips hold 3/16 in ID or 1/4 in OD tubing in a 1.2 in cup, and the clip turns so you can angle the line. A heater needs the larger 12-pack, with a 0.95 or 1.1 in clip on a 1.3 in rubber cup. Those clips are too wide to grip airline.
Zip ties turn a cup into a holder for moss, a shrimp nest or a small plant. Ties run 5.7 in on 1-inch cups, in packs from 10 to 80, and the 20-pack set gives each cup either a clip or a tie. For feeding, the clips on a 1.8 in base hold nori, lettuce or a slice of cucumber against the glass, 4 to 12 to a pack.
The 5 suction cups and clips on this shelf belong to Pawfly aquarium supplies.
The 12-pack heater cups. Each has a 1.3 in rubber cup and a 0.95 or 1.1 in clip sized for standard 1 in heaters, PVC tubing or rain bars. They are too wide to grip airline, so use the airline clips for that.
Not at the same time. On the 20-pack with clips and zip ties, each cup takes either the heart-shaped clip, pressed into its base, or a 5.7 in zip tie through the holes in its raised center. Choose one per cup and keep the rest for later.
Clear cups turn milky white after a while in water, and that is normal. When a cup gets old and starts to slip, replace it, and clean and dry both the cup and the glass before you press a new one on.
