About Pawfly
Pawfly makes the small parts that keep water moving and animals cared for: air pumps, sponge filters, lights, test kits and nets for aquariums, plus aeration for ponds and bait buckets and gear for reptiles and birds.
What Pawfly makes
Most of the Pawfly range lives around the fish tank. There are air pumps from a 1.3 W nano set to a 254 GPH pump with four outlets, air stones in discs, balls, bars and cylinders, sponge filters, filter pads and media bags, and the tubing, check valves, connectors and suction cups that hold a setup together. Lights run from a clip-on LED for small tanks to a planted light at 27 or 72 W and a dimmable reef light.
Around that core sit the tools of upkeep and breeding: a 5-in-1 Water Master Test Kit and a glass CO2 drop checker, glass cleaners and gravel vacuums, fish and shrimp nets, an acrylic breeding box, a brine shrimp net kit and automatic feeders. Outside the tank, the Pawfly range covers pond air pumps, live-bait aerators, reptile heat pads, terrarium lights and basking platforms, and bird bath heaters and water dispensers.
Who uses Pawfly gear
You might keep a betta in a 5-gallon tank, a colony of shrimp, or a row of breeding tanks for fry. Pawfly sponge filters and nano pumps are sized for exactly those small, quiet setups, and the nets come with fine mesh and extendable handles for reaching the back corner.
Pond owners use the 500 GPH Pond Air Pump and the 120 GPH Pond Aeration Kit, and the pre-filter sponges made for Beckett pond pumps. Anglers keep minnows alive with a battery aerator on the bucket or in the 13-quart bait cooler. Reptile keepers come for heat pads, water dispensers and bathing pools, and bird keepers for cage waterers, feeders and winter bath heaters.
Since 2016
In its own words, Pawfly first entered the market in 2016 with simple aquarium supplies. Ten years on, the Pawfly approach is the same: plain parts that do one job, labeled with the numbers you need to choose them.
Over those years the range has grown from the aquarium into the pond, the bait bucket, the terrarium and the backyard bird bath. Each of those places has the same practical questions: how much air, how much water, how much heat, and what fits what.
Sized from nano tank to pond
Every product page in the Pawfly catalog gives you the figures that decide fit: air flow in GPH, the tank size a part is rated for, wattage, dimensions and pack counts. Sponge filters come in sizes from 1 to 60 gallons, so you can match the foam to your tank instead of guessing. Our tank planner puts the pumps, filters and lights for one tank size on a single list.
Spare parts matter as much as the first purchase. You can reorder replacement sponges, bio sponge pads, filter floss, check valves in packs of 6 or 10, bulk airline tubing, replacement air stones for biOrb tanks and a sponge set for the CPF-2500 pond filter, so a worn part gets replaced instead of the whole unit.
