About Pawfly fish nets

Four nets, from a 2-inch shrimp scoop to a 10-inch square, on handles that reach from 9.5 to 24 inches.

Pick the net by the fish. Goldfish and koi in a small pond fit the 8 or 10 in braided net, while bettas, guppies and small cichlids lift more easily in a 4 to 6 in square. Every Pawfly net uses soft nylon mesh, and the smallest of all, the 2-inch round scoop of the Shrimp Net, has a pocket 2 in deep for shrimp and fry.

Handles come two ways. A braided handle twists three metal wires under a plastic wrap, stays one length, and holds up in fresh or salt water. Telescopic handles slide out in stainless steel: the Shrimp Net from 5.3 to 15.5 in, the Telescopic net to 24 in for tanks that deep. Each ends in a hole or a key ring, so you can hang the net to dry.

The 4 fish nets on this shelf belong to the Pawfly aquarium line.

Also by need: nano tanks, 1 to 5 gallons, betta, fry and shrimp tanks, cleaning: glass, gravel, water, breeding boxes and fry care.

Questions about Pawfly fish nets

Which Pawfly net catches your shrimp and fry?

The Shrimp Net with Extendable Handle, in 2, 3 or 4 in, round or square. Its nylon mesh is soft and spreads in the water without wrinkling. For bettas and other small fish, the 4-inch Telescopic net is 4 by 2.7 in with a pocket 3 in deep.

How deep can a Pawfly net reach into your tank?

The Telescopic net extends to 24 in, for tanks 9 to 24 in deep. On the Shrimp Net, the handle runs from 5.3 in closed to 15.5 in open. Braided handles are fixed: 9.5 in on the single net and 10.5 in on the 2-pack.

Can you use a Pawfly net to skim your pond?

Yes. All four nets lift leaves, debris and leftover food off the surface of a tank, a small pond or a pool. For a pond, the 8 or 10 in braided net covers more water per pass, and the Telescopic net reaches 24 in out from the edge.
