About Pawfly heaters, lids and tank gear

Heat, cold, cover and current: a 50 W heater, a cooling fan, a polycarbonate lid and a 3400 GPH wavemaker, with a bowl and plant cups.

Temperature first. The 50 W Submersible Heater warms a 5 to 10 gallon tank anywhere from 59 to 95 °F, shows the reading on an outside display, and cuts out at 96 °F. In summer, the Aquarium Cooling Fan clamps to glass up to 0.6 in thick and blows across the water at 5 speeds, with a timer from half an hour up to 12 hours. It comes as 1, 2 or 4 fans.

Our Clear Fish Tank Lid is cut for a standard 10-gallon rimmed tank, 19.3 by 9.65 in, with an extension sheet you trim around a filter. Large tanks take the 3400 GPH Wavemaker on a magnetic base, rated for 30 to 300 or 50 to 450 gallons. Plant cups hang on rimless glass up to 0.39 in thick, and the plastic bowl holds 0.5 to 3 gallons.

The 6 heaters, lids and tank gear on this shelf belong to the Pawfly aquarium line.

Also by need: betta, fry and shrimp tanks.

Questions about Pawfly tank gear

What happens if your Pawfly heater ends up out of the water?

It switches off. The 50 W Submersible Heater detects when it is out of water and shuts down instead of heating dry. It also cuts out at 96 °F, and it remembers your setting after a power cut, so you do not need to set it again.

Will the Pawfly clear lid fit your 10-gallon tank?

It is cut for standard 10-gallon rimmed tanks without a center brace: 19.3 by 9.65 in with the extension sheet attached. Measure your tank before ordering. Larger sizes come as one sheet of 29.21 by 11.69 in or as a pair of panels.

How does the Pawfly wavemaker pause for your feeding time?

One tap starts a 10-minute pause with a countdown on the display, so food is not blown around the tank. After the pause, or after a power cut, it goes back to your last settings. You choose from 6 wave modes, 20 flow levels and 99 frequency settings.
