- Holds 0.5 to 3 gallons, with the 3-gallon bowl 11 inches across on a desk or shelf.
Four sizes of the same clear globe make up this Pawfly bowl: 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 3 gallons. It is molded from thick PET plastic, so a knock on the desk is less of a worry than with glass. The 3-gallon bowl measures 11 inches across and 9.3 inches high and stands on an 8-inch base that keeps it steady on a flat counter or shelf.
A bowl arrives without a filter, heater or light, so you add the gear yourself or keep it for plants and display. Of the four, the 3-gallon size gives a betta the most water. Outside fishkeeping it works as a candy jar, a vase or a storage jar. Set it on a level surface away from the edge.
