Three suction cups grip the glass so this disc stays flat on the bottom instead of drifting with the bubbles. The 4 inch disc (model ASD100) measures 4.1 by 0.7 inches, weighs 7 ounces and passes 12 L/min, around 190 GPH, given a pump above 4 W. Its inlet takes 3/16 or 3/8 inch tubing, so the same disc moves between a tank, a pond and a DWC reservoir.

Diameters run 2, 4, 5 and 8 inches. The 2 inch also sells as a 2 pack and the 4 inch as a 2 or 4 pack. Plan on more than 4 W of pump for the 4 inch disc and match the larger sizes with a stronger pump, because a wider face spreads the same air thinner. Soak a new disc for an hour, and brush it once the bubble pattern turns patchy.
