One option
- For a home brine shrimp hatchery feeding fry, with nets 4.3 inches across.
Live brine shrimp come out of a hatcher mixed with their eggshells, and this kit sorts the two. Pour through the 80-mesh net first to hold back shells and debris, then through the 200-mesh net to catch the newly hatched nauplii. Each net is 4.3 inches across inside and 2.5 inches deep, on a PP rim and handle. The kit adds 2 marked pipettes and 5 storage tubes.
Sift within about 24 hours of hatching, since earlier or later the separation works less well, per the description. Rinse gently with low water pressure so the shrimp are not damaged. Portion food for fry tanks with the pipettes, and hold a batch in the tubes until feeding time. A hatcher and eggs are not part of the kit.
