  • Fits a 5 to 20 gallon fry or community tank driven by a small pump under 4 W.

Low and compact at 3.2 by 2.2 inches, this filter sits inside a 5 to 20 gallon tank. Air from a pump under 4 W feeds a built-in air stone that releases 0.8 L/min, and the rising bubbles pull water through the foam. Mini filter balls at the base block larger particles and hold bacteria, so mechanical and biological stages share one small body.

Choose Medium or Large by tank, or buy the Small replacement sponges once the white sponge wears down, since it wants replacing every 2 to 3 months. The air pump is not part of the set. Rinse the main sponge every 2 to 4 weeks in tank water and keep it away from tap water entirely.
