An 8-inch bar fits tanks 8 to 15 inches long, and the 28-inch bar reaches tanks up to 51 inches.

Left in its 24/7 mode, the Pawfly Full-Spectrum Aquarium Light comes on at 6 a.m., moves through daylight to a moonlight blue and shuts off at 10 p.m. with no input from you. White, blue, red and green LEDs sit under a silicone-sealed clear board in an aluminum shell. Six bar lengths, from 8 to 28 inches, cover tanks from 8 to 51 inches long, and each length comes in a Basic or Pro version.

Prefer your own schedule? Day and Night mode lets you pick 6, 8 or 10 hours of daylight and 2, 3 or 4 hours of moonlight, and DIY mode adds a set start time and 10 brightness levels. Measure your tank before choosing a bar. The product description gives 5 W for the 8-inch bar and states that the adapter is ETL-certified.
