Best on a desktop betta tank of 1 to 5 gallons, and the larger options cover tanks of 10 to 20 gallons.

Six watts on a flexible gooseneck: the Pawfly Clip-On LED Light grips the rim of a small tank and bends to aim where you want it. White, blue, green and red LEDs share one head, with day and night modes and six brightness steps. A built-in timer runs for 8, 10 or 12 hours, switches off, then starts again at the same time the next day. Sizes run from 1 to 5 gallons up to 10 to 20 gallons, three of them with Bluetooth.

Power comes through a 3-foot USB cable, and the plug adapter is not in the box. Use a 5V/2A phone adapter: on a weaker supply the lamp flashes to warn you, and at 5V/1A you should turn the brightness down. Holding the M button for three seconds switches every channel off. As a clip lamp it lights a desktop tank well, but it is not made to span a long one.
