Choose the 5 W pad for a small tank or the 40 W pad, at 16.5 by 11 inches, for a larger one.

Graphene is the heating layer in this thin Pawfly pad, which goes under a glass or plastic tank or against its wall. Four sizes run from 5 W at about 6 by 5.5 inches to 14 W at 11 by 5.9, 28 W at 11 by 11 and 40 W at 16.5 by 11. The description states that the surface stays below 122 °F. A 4.9-foot cord runs to the DC power supply.

The smaller three sizes come with or without a controller, and the 40 W pad comes with one only. With no adhesive, the pad moves as your layout changes. A thermostat is not included, though the description says the pad works with one. Follow the product's own instructions on placement, and leave part of the floor unheated.
